On 12 August 2026, the moon slides fully across the sun and the sky over the Balearics goes dark for a minute. We've built six days around that minute — a house above the southwest coast, the coves and markets of Ibiza by day, and the island's best spaces by night, with plenty of free time to just be.
The Wednesday hippy market at Es Canar, then back to the villa to refresh before the evening.
The total solar eclipse — about a minute (≈1m 06s), with the sun very low, only ~3° above the western horizon. We watch from a clear west-facing vantage point.

The house sits in the southwest near Cala Vadella — ~30 min from the airport. Coordinates: 38°55'16"N 1°13'30"E.
We move by car. Shared rentals cover beach days and nights out; expect 15–50 min drives depending on which side of the island we're on.
An easy pace. This isn't a regimented schedule — there's lots of free, unstructured time at the house and pool to relax between the things we do together. Branch off and do your own thing whenever you like.
